Thankfully its easing now and were back up and about - you wouldnt believe how pleased I was to wear something other than pyjamas! And in the name of recovery it seemed like the perfect time to get some fresh air in the garden - how things have changed in the space of a week, things are busting out all over!
I have no idea what this is, and its never appeared before, but it seems to have sprung into action since I did some industrial pruning!
Any ideas? Whatever it is I love it!
The little ole Lupin I planted last year has gone forth and multiplied...
and it won't be long now before we can have a rumble with a crumble as the rhubarb is up and running...
These crowns are only in their second year, we've got some under pots forcing that should be ready even sooner!
And finally it wouldn't be Spring without some of these about to burst into life. Our daffs didn't do so well last year, so I'm a very relieved to see them back in force this year. the lawn has been savaged by snow, dogs and builders, in no particular order, so its nice to have these bloom back to brighten it up a bit...
Its a good job we're all on the mend - there's so much to do!!!
I am glad you are feeling better. LOL I see you have the Stylish Blogger Award and I just awarded it to you again! That makes you super stylish!
ReplyDeleteGlad you're all feeling better, not sure what your bulbs are, although I have some too!
ReplyDeleteUntil the mystery plant flowers it's hard to tell but it has the look of some sort of chionodoxa or scilla or have you planted out hyacinths previously in pots as the leaves look a bit like them
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feeling better and enjoying all that beauty.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to hear you're feeling better. The flu is going around at work. I haven't been sick for a long time so hopefully I don't catch the bug! There's always so much to do in the garden especially that spring is here. I love surprises from the garden to!

I'm glad to hear that you're all on the mend.It seems to be a really nasty virus that's zapping everybody. Good to see so much new life emerging in the garden, too. x
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you're feeling better. As to your mystery plant - I can't get a good idea of the size of the plant from the picture, but, if it's small, is it some form of scilla? Some form of scilla bifolia maybe - but it's just a guess.
ReplyDeleteSo happy to learn all are on the mend! Hopefully you'll have some nice weather to re-fortify yourself and the other FR's. Lovely blooms there to greet you. Hope your weather stays nice. :-D
ReplyDeleteSo glad you're feeling better. There's nothing like gardening to make you feel better!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're on the mend. I've just spent the last two days in my pyjamas suffering from a stomach bug. It seems there's lots of things doing the rounds at the moment. It's nice to be able to get out and see everything springing back to life at this time of year.
